Albrecht Arenz from Dein-Konfigurator comes to area30 as an award-winning digital pioneer.

Albrecht Arenz, founder and CEO of Dein-Konfigurator, starts the trade fair week at area30 in Löhne with an award in his hands. On 19 September 2024, he was named "digitalPIONEER" at the renowned "digitalSUMMIT" in Aachen - an award that recognizes him as an innovative pioneer of digitalization in the furniture and kitchen industry. Arenz will be on site at the Dein-Konfigurator stand C30 to present his award-winning digital solutions - and of course the award will also have a prominent place on the stand.

The fifth edition of the "digitalSUMMIT" Aachen was held under the motto "Give me the Future - with courage and innovation to success". The event emphasized the importance of innovation and willingness to change in a rapidly changing world. Keynote speaker Tijen Onaran, one of the leading experts on digitalization and diversity, emphasized the relevance of courage and innovation in order to be successful in the digital world. In addition to her inspiring speech, regional best-practice examples were presented - including the solutions offered by Dein-Konfigurator.

The "digitalPIONEER" award is presented by the Aachen Region Focus Group, coordinated by AGIT mbH. It honours companies that develop outstanding digital solutions and approaches and serve as best-practice examples for digitalization in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Albrecht Arenz is the first award winner from the Euskirchen district.

"This award shows that SMEs from our region can also make a significant contribution to the digital transformation," says presenter Robert Esser. "Dein-Konfigurator has set an example for other SMEs with its innovative solutions for optimizing configuration processes in the kitchen and furniture industry."

Albrecht Arenz has been self-employed since January 2013 and has extensive knowledge of the furniture industry from various perspectives. After training as a business economist at the private furniture college in Cologne (MöFa), he worked in both sales and purchasing for four chain stores. He quickly developed a strong passion for the kitchen industry. In the course of his many years on the purchasing committees of various association groups, he gained extensive experience in the development of marketing concepts and the communication of product information between industry and trade. This experience ultimately gave rise to the idea for Dein-Konfigurator.

At area30, Arenz will present the versatile application possibilities of his solutions. As a specialist for digital interfaces, Dein-Konfigurator offers customized software solutions that enable manufacturers and retailers to configure their products efficiently and in a customer-specific manner. Dein-Konfigurator has proven its innovative strength particularly in close and constructive cooperation with companies such as Eggersmann, Poggenpohl and Rotpunkt Küchen.
